A 200 OK Is Not a Working Feature

For a few weeks, a bunch of posts on our company blog were broken and nobody knew. Pages loaded fine. Server said 200 every time. But inside them there were blank boxes where images should've been, and internal links that went straight to 404s. Nothing threw an error, so nothing alerted anyone.
